Senior Database Administrator
Job description
Job Purpose:
To support in managing daily operations for the IT Infrastructure and ensure the proper implementation of robust and scalable systems that meet the Exchange’s business requirements as per the IT policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
Daily Operations:
- Follow daily operations relating to their own job to ensure work continuity
- Contribute to preparing timely and accurate reports that concern the Department’s line of work to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the Exchange and the department
- Ensure the satisfaction of both internal and external customers by addressing their needs in a courteous and timely manner
IT Infrastructure:
- Analyze IT infrastructure initiatives in order to understand capabilities and limitations of the current supporting IT infrastructure, while providing recommendations to build and maintain a scalable and agile IT infrastructure meeting the Exchange operational and capacity requirements
- Assist in implementing proper monitoring tools to achieve the required benchmarks, and provide monitoring support to all internal functions in order to achieve of effective IT operations
- Ensure effective communication with project managers in order to successfully execute IT projects
- Assist in identifying the Exchange’s outdated technology assets to acquire constant system upgrades in accordance with evolving business requirements
Coordination and Cooperation:
- Organize the operations of all IT related infrastructure aspects (hardware, networks, servers, storage, and database management) in order to successful operations
- Coordinate with the IT Operations regarding directory management and messaging systems while ensuring network performance and support in accordance to the service level agreements
- Assist in monitoring infrastructure performance and availability in coordination with the IT performance management in order to identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities to continue improvement of processes and practices by considering best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction measures, and productivity improvement
Governance and Resilience:
- Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement
- Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.
Senior System Administrator
Job description

UI UX Designer
Job description
Key Accountabilities:
Digital Products:
- Develop a strong understanding of the working process of the Exchange, in order to counsel how digital and social media best fits into the overall strategy
- Assist in developing business strategies, go to market plans, product vision, roadmap, and solution architectures compliant with architecture standards
- Manage digital projects to support the department to achieve its objectives
UI / UX Development:
- Leverage user-experience and graphic-design methodologies to help re-imagine new human-centered user experiences, products and services through collaborative problem solving with a multidisciplinary team
- Serve as key contributor and/or appointed lead on Primary and Secondary Research, Trend Analysis, Conceptual Ideation, Digital Prototypes and UX/UI Specifications
- Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership in UX/UI/Transmedia design approaches and strategic innovation best practices
- Navigate multidisciplinary input and constructive critique to ensure digital products balance compelling visual design and a great consumer experience
- Execute a project from concept to completion, leveraging expertise in investigative research, ideation, concept development, wire-framing, digital rapid prototyping, technology vendor management and communication with client product creation organizations and/or client technology enablement departments
- Advocate user perspective and Customer experience in all digital channels
- Advocate standardization in all digital communication, define new standards and methodologies that will ensure companywide understanding of UX goals
- Provide bulletproof Quality assurance for all digital projects, including; solution and user testing, standardization, and brand consistency trough all digital channels
Department Liaison:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with IT, business and external entities to ensure effective overall management of the IT organization
- Provide technical expertise, direction and assistance to IT staff.
Operations:
- Follow day-to-day operations relating to one’s own job to ensure work continuity
- Contribute to preparing timely and accurate reports of Information Technology/ Digital Section to meet the Exchange and department requirements, objectives, and standards
- Ensure the satisfaction of both internal and external customers by addressing their needs in a courteous and timely manner
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
