An international organization located in Egypt is looking to hire an Egyptian finance manager within its staff, as per the below requirements and Job Description:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, workflows, controls and reporting systems. This FM ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. The FM also oversees cost, general accounting, payroll and risk management. The FM define strategies, goals, objectives and action plans and define complex activities in technical, professional or business goals works independently and works under the guidance of the GM.
Essential Functions
1)Manage the preparation and standardization of departmental and organization financial documents according to the top rated international financial standards.
2)Coordinates and work closely with local and international banks to manage the company`s bank accounts and transfers.
3)Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
4)Participates in the organization’s strategy building and implementation.
5)Liaises with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
6)Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
7)Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data.
8)Ensures compliance with local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports. Advises management of actions and potential risks.
9)Keeps up-to-date on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
10)Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
11)Maintains the financial health of the organization.
12)Conducts reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
13)Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
14)Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
15)Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
16)Corresponds with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
17)Connects with the holding company and the sister companies to execute any auditing, transfers, budgeting or any finance and accounting activities.
18)Collaborates with management on development and execution of funding strategies
19)Supervises the finance departments staff.
20)Develops trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
Education & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MSC or MBA is considered as an advantage).
– Advanced and professional career certificates: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification / Certified public accountants (CPA) an Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a clear advantage
– 10+ years of total work experience in Oil and Gas sector (at least 3 years as Financial manager)
