Egyptian Kuwaiti Foundry “EKF” located in 6th of October City, is seeking to hire Logistics Section Head

Main duties:
– Oversee the shipping and delivery of materials and warehouse personnel.
– Manage in-house material handling to/from production lines.
– Manage inventory and maintain communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of merchandise.
– Ensure product packaging and schedule dispatches conformation to customer requirements.
Required skills:
– Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems
– Managing daily material handling activities.
– Knowing all aspects of warehouse operations and able to establish a convenient system from scratch.
– Reviewing inventory needs and keeping adequate stock
– Adequate exposure to ERP system.
Candidate profile:
– University graduate, preferably from Engineering or Business discipline or equivalent. Post graduate relevant studies are considerable assets.
– Experience: 5 to 8 years, out of which min. 3 years in industrial logistics in a supervisory role.
– Proficient English language level. German language is a valuable asset.
– Punctual, organized and active.
