MBC GROUP Is currently recruiting for a IT Security Engineer with the following skillset:

The ideal candidate should have
• Server hardening

• Endpoint security

• Infrastructure security

• Microsoft servers

• Active Directory or Group policies (GPO)

• Next-generation firewalls (NGFW) preferably Palo Alto or Fortinet

• Office365 security

• Scripting

The below keywords are a plus

• Cloud security (Azure or Amazon AWS)

• Incident response

• Automation

• SIEM

Certifications that would add value to the CV but are in no way necessary

• Microsoft certified solution expert (MCSE)

• Ethical Hacking (CEH)

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

The candidate profile should be :

• Minimum 5 years of experience

• Highly competent in Microsoft security protocols and technologies such as GPO, BitLocker, system hardening, AD security, etc.

• Experience with virtualization and securing Hyper-V

• Experience with next-gen firewalls and network security devices

• Competent with PowerShell scripting

• Practical knowledge of vulnerability management and end-point security

• Good understanding of web attacks and WAF technologies

• Good understanding of SIEM technologies and use-cases

• Excellent understanding of network security principles and network offensive techniques

• Demonstrated experience in incident handling

• Good understanding of network architectures and security architecture

Roles/Responsibilities :

• Work closely with the security architects to continuously improve network security posture

• Take ownership of firewall configuration and policies

• Work cohesively with IT to improve the security posture of servers and endpoints

• Monitor security logs and alerts

• Regularly perform security checks and troubleshooting on devices within his responsibility

• Respond appropriately and promptly to threats, alarms, and incidents

• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure adequate patch management
