JOB DESCRIPTION

Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services is currently seeking to hire a Databse Administrator who will be responsible for the following tasks

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

• Data bases deployment, administration ; DB2, Oracle and SQL on all Fawry’s environments
• Upgrade/patching of the Data Bases.
• Monitor, maintain database systems and troubleshoot problems that may arise.
• Support software developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and the creation of stored procedures.
• Company application administration; Deploy, configure, integrate and test the implemented solution based on Technical and Business requirements.
• React to High Severity issues technical situation that requires immediate attention.
• Learn relevant business processes and understand the data flow, criticality and dependencies.
• Develop strategies and implement solutions for managing back-ups, restoration and replication.
• Support operation team by responding to operation incidents and service requests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering , Computer Science .
• 2 to 5 years’ of experience
• Data base administration experience in Oracle and/ or DB2
• Data base administration experience in MS SQL
• IBM WebSphere Application Server
• IBM DataStage , OBIEE
• Self-motivated professional to work with minimal direction with effective time management skills.
• Open to flexible working conditions including after-hours scheduled activities
